BEEF SAUTEED WITH PEACHES
Perfect dish for the end of summer! The combination of peaches and beef is unusual and pairs perfectly with all the other ingredients! Surprising flavors wait to be discovered! Enjoy with a robust wine from the Southern Cotes-du-Rhone such as Chateauneuf-du-Pape!

Serving 4
1 ½ lb. beef strips (sirloin)
4 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp olive oil
1 red onion, cut in half and sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 piece of fresh ginger, minced (1 inch long)
2 red peppers, cored, seeded and sliced
2 green peppers, cored, seeded and sliced
3 celery stalks, peeled and sliced
3 peaches, not too ripe, cored and sliced
Juice of 2 limes
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp fresh minced cilantro
In a medium bowl, marinate the beef strips with the soy sauce while preparing the vegetables.
Wash and cut all the vegetables and fruits. Place them in different plates.
In a sautéed pan or wok, heat the olive oil on high heat. Sautéed the onion, garlic, ginger and peppers, stirring constantly 8-10 minutes.
Add the beef strips and cook 3 minutes.
Add the celery, peaches, lime juice, sesame seeds and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes.
Serve over jasmine rice.
