APPLE TART WITH CINNAMON
This apple tart is very easy to prepare and the result is incomparable! You will love the wonderful smell in your kitchen too! Enjoy!
Preparation: 15 min. baking time: 40 min
Serving 4-6
1 Sheet of puff pastry, thawed
4 gala apples, peeled, cored and sliced thin
4 tbsp. butter, melted
4 tbsp. raw sugar
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
Confectioner’s sugar for dusting
Sprinkle 1 tbsp. of sugar on a baking sheet. Place the puff pastry over it and prick the dough with a fork. Add another tbsp. of sugar over the puff pastry.
Preheat the oven to 430 F.
Place the sliced apples over the puff pastry. Brush the apples with the melted butter. Sprinkle the rest of the sugar with the cinnamon over them.
Bake 40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
Sprinkle the tart with confectioner’s sugar and broil 1 or 2 minutes to caramelize.
Enjoy this tart hot with vanilla ice cream!
